Paper
1.

Kelvin uses Hahnemühle Photo Rag®, 100% cotton paper with a velvety smooth, matte surface. Photo Rag® is a gicleé print, boasting little to no light reflectivity and renown to be the highest quality fine art paper available. The paper gives muted blacks with even colour reproduction, and excellent detail. The surface has minimal texture with a chalky smooth cotton feel which creates smooth colour gradients.

Hahnemühle have been producing paper of unparalleled quality for artistic and graphic use since 1584. Their paper is produced using old recipes, passed from generation to generation, and it continues to meet the highest demands of present-day standards. Hahnemühle papers have been certified by independent institutes to be highly resistant to ageing and are vegan, in order to meet the highest requirements of customers.
Printing
2.
Giclée printing is the finest digital printing method that uses specialist archival pigment and acid-free papers. The results of this mean you can enjoy gallery-quality prints with excellent depth of colour, longevity and stability. Giclée printing uses high-end printers and inks. These inks are more expensive than regular inks, however they produce a higher quality print. Giclée printers provide a much wider range of colour and saturation than any laser printer available on the market.

The matt premium inkjet coating produces outstanding prints that feature brilliant colours, deep blacks, striking contrasts and perfect reproduction of detail. Combined with the white cotton artist’s paper, with its characteristic, wonderfully soft feel, boasts a lightly defined felt structure, lending each artwork a three-dimensional appearance and impressive pictorial depth.

Kelvin uses Quadrum picture frames which are made in Germany from FSC®-certified wood. FSC® certification ensures that our products come from responsibly managed forests that provide environmental, social and economic benefits.
The frames are equipped with edge-ground float glass, an acid-free insert and sturdy rear panel. Windows are made from glass other than A1, which uses high quality acrylic to ensure an affordable price for our larger format prints.

Black. The classic choice. The deep, satin black finish is a neutral tone, hence its popularity for photographic and art prints.
Oak. For warmth and tone, you can't beat oak. Natural solid wood is another classic choice, which complements most prints.
White. The solid, smooth white finish is neutral and light to give a contemporary look, focusing the attention on the print itself.
